Professor Hal Swerissen is an expert on health policy and services. He is a fellow at the Grattan Institute and conducts research on health policy. He has published more than 150 books, papers and reports. Professor Swerissen consults on planning, evaluation and management in health, community services and education. He was previously Pro Vice Chancellor, Regional and Executive Dean of Health Sciences at La Trobe University. Professor Swerissen has held numerous board and committee appointments in health, education and community services. He is currently a Director of the Murray Primary Health Network.
